Production ticketing system for a Sydney dance-music brand — branded event site, Stripe checkout, QR tickets, and a door-scanner app on the same Postgres backend.

  • Integrated Stripe PaymentIntents with Postgres RPCs that atomically reserve capacity
  • Payment webhooks issue tickets, generate QR codes, and email PDF passes via Resend
  • Admin dashboard for events, orders, refunds, MFA, and an AI-assisted support inbox
  • Companion door-scanner app — staff auth, live camera QR redeem, and manual ticket lookup

The path here

I spent 13 years as an electrician and elevator service technician before making the change to pursue my passion in tech. My background helped me develop the skills to debug systems systematically, respect safety-critical work, and communicate clearly with non-technical people.

Since the switch I've worked two remote contract roles, working in agile teams, building web applications and developing core products. Working remotely across time zones has built my skills in working autonomously and communicating clearly with my team.
